The Banneker-Douglass Museum is the State of Maryland’s official museum of African American heritage. It's named for Benjamin Banneker and Frederick Douglass and is dedicated to preserving Maryland's African American heritage and serves as the state's official repository of African American material culture. It's filled with amazing local and American history!
